Familar faces include the incomparable Debbie Allen as Prinicpal Angela Simms, Kelsey Grammer as Joel Cranston and Megan Mullay as Fran Rowan. As for the newcomers, you may not now...but you're gonna remember their names.

Adam has kept his lips closed on the deets , but John Miceli aint so quiet , he was the drummer on the song and told that it was for the upcoming disaster film 2012, now Queen guitarist Brian May confirms the song for the 2012 movie . Brian got a chance to hear the track and here's what he had to say ; "I was privileged to hear a track that the guys have finished for Adam Lambert … a song for a forthcoming film, 2012. I have to say I was completely blown away … it’s truly sensational. In fact it’s so obviously a number one smash, any bookie would be mad to take bets on it. I am not kidding. Adam , Kris and David Cook that is , after their amazing , wait beyond amazing ! perfromance on Good Morning America last Friday , the 3 most adorable boys around took the time to , spill on their summer tours and what all of them think of Paula leaving Idol. Read excerpts from the interview below:)

Adam Lambert says the response he’s getting from the crowd is helping him get through the extremely hectic Idols Live concert schedule. “The energy’s nuts,” he says. “I mean, I’m not going to lie. It’s a grueling schedule. But even if I’m exhausted, the minute I step out onto that stage, I’m charged up. The audience is throwing amazing positive energy our way, and it’s an exchange. I feel that, and I try to give it back, as much as I can.” Adam says that a few of the songs he’s performing on tour are actually giving fans a bit of a sneak preview of his forthcoming album. He explains, “I would say the Bowie medley is a really nice way to telecast what some parts of the album may sound like, you know, there’s a little bit of an electronic production to it, and I think that’s very similar to some of the stuff we’re doing.” He adds, “Also, the Muse song is a nice kind of nod to some things to expect.”

Kris Allen says he’s enjoying meeting the fans while on the road, and especially those fans who he’s had a major impact on. “There was one girl the other night,” he says. “She was, like, fourteen, and she was a singer-songwriter, played the guitar, and she was, like, ‘You have really inspired me to go after this.’” So that meant a whole lot. A lot of people are like (screaming) ‘KRISS!!!!! Blah Blah.’ But hearing stuff like that and actually meeting that person was so cool.” As for the songs he’s performing on tour, Kris says he’s having the most fun with “Hey Jude.” “At the end of that, the whole place just sings along and is standing up, and everyone’s just screaming,” he says. “So it’s very cool to have people singing along, and you’re up on that big stage, kinda leading it, and I’m actually surprised that a lot of people know that song!”

David Cook is on the road through November, and he says he’s proud of the fact that his show has no gimmicks or special effects – it’s just music . As he puts it, “If you want to come out and see, y’know, fifty pounds of glitter dumped on an audience, we’re not the show for that. I think what we bring to the table is, we try to eliminate that buffer, you know. We’ll play some songs, we’ll talk to the audience, talk to each other, crack jokes on each other…we try to make it as much of a conversation as we possibly can.”

The Boys on Paula Leaving

Adam Lambert says Paula’s departure will be a loss to American Idol, both for fans and contestants. “I know the audience will miss her,” he says, “and I think that she provides a lot of safety and warmth both in the audition room and onstage. When you’re performing from week to week, she’s somebody that, as a performer, you can look at and you know she will make you feel comfortable and loved. She’s got a lot of heart and I think the contestants are going to be missing something.”

Kris Allen says future contestants on American Idol will suffer from not having Paula there. “I think they’ll miss the heartfelt thing that she gives. She’s so caring and she’s so lovely,” says Kris. “ Behind the scenes, she was the person who would be, like, no matter how you felt about [your performance], she felt good about it.”

David Cook doesn’t think Paula can be replaced. “No,” he says, “And I really, earnestly hope that that’s not what the show tries to do. I think Paula is Paula.” He adds, “ I think if they’re going to bring somebody in, bring fresh blood in. Hopefully, it’s somebody nice, because I was eternally grateful for the fact that Paula always kind of eased the criticism.”

This Monday the 2009 TCA's were held to show our support for our fave music artist , actor , actress , movie and hookup , you know teen stuff . The Jonas Brothers were this year's lucky hosts , and the stars were in full swing on the faux grass carpet , Jordin Sparks , Ashely Tisdale , Zac Efron , Emma Roberts, Ashley Greene , Taylor Lautner , Robert Pattinson , Chace Crawford , Leighton Meester , Miley Cyrus , and Kristen Stewart just to name a few , came out to accept their surfboards , Twilight took the lead with 11 wins , Jonas Bros with 5 , and even some Idol love with David Archie winning Choice Breakout Artist and Adam Lambert winning Choice Reality Star . But the talk of the night had to be Ms. Miley or shall I say Hoochie Cyrus to dare I say "entertained" us with a musical performance which included a stripper pole , my goodness people she's 16!!! and her parents were right there cheering her on , have they no shame? lol . Jordin Sparks has dropped her second album "Battlefield' , David Archuleta has been tour mates with Demi Lovato , and Jordin with the JoBros , the Season 8 Idols have rocked the country on their summer tour ,and I've met them !! ,and we've lost Paula Abdul on American Idol :( it won't be the same . Also Ashley Tisdale has dropped her second album "Guilty Pleasure" , I've been introduced to the band Vfactory which i love!! and will have to tell you guys more about , and the Twilight cast is all ready for New Moon. So sorry I can't make up for the past ,but here's to a better now . Here we go!!! :)

Jordin took to the stage last night , in Dallas ,Texas as the opener for the JoBros , she belted out her single in a gorgeous floor length white gown , as the crowd went wild . Jordin will be pretty busy this summer spending time on the road for the rest of the tour and getting ready to release her sophomore album "Battlefield" July 21st , Jordin seems to be very happy the second time around as she tells Billboard magazine , “I knew I’d be able to get more involved because we had the time,” which was a big difference from the time allotted back in 07 . Jordin is set for appearances on Regis & Kelly , Late Night With Jimmy Fallon and Good Morning America for her press tour . Kanye West appeared on The View yesterday and when asked by co host Sheri Sheperd what he thought of Kris Allen's rendition of his song "Heartless" the usually controversial singer replied "Everyone who sings that song sings it better than me" Kanye went on to praise The Fray's version of the song and was grateful of the publicity given to the song via Allen .Kanye also went on to say about Kris.I.m so happy that he performed it on his road to victory. I'm just really happy that he involved my song. That my songs are a part of people.s consciousness spirit like that is amazing.. Somehow Kanye always ties it into him being "great" but whateve. It's official Idol runner-up Adam Lambert has signed with RCA & 19 Records who also has Idols David Cook and Kelly Clarkson as clients , so Adam is in good company , here is the press release put out yesterday :)

Last night at the Shrine auditorium here in L.A. some of Hollywood's hottest gathered together top present the awards to this years nominees in categories ranging from Best Kiss, to Best Fight and of course Best Movie , Twilight fans had great reason to celebrate for one of two things Twilight took home an award for each of the categories it was nominated in , the o-so- hot Mr.Hottie Cam Gigandet and Rob Pattinson took home the golden popcorn for Best Fight , Kristen Stewart & Robert Pattinson also took Best Kiss , and Kristen took home her own award for Best Female Perforamnce. Later in the show the cast premiered the official trailer for New Moon (November 20th be sure to check it out below) all I have to say is Taylor Lautner= me drooling :). Another highlight for me was when Ashley Tisdale took home Best Breakthrough Female :) and my boy Zac Efron for winning Best Male Performance , so proud of you guys you deserve it :):) Zac also along with Kiefer Sutherland presented Ben Stiller with the Generation Award check out the hilariousness below:)

Adam & Kris Race To The Finish

Last night was sadly the last performance show of the season , and it was Adam Lambert's and Kris Allen's final time to show America what they got....and that they did here's the rundown.

Round One - Personal Choice

Adam Lambert- He started the show off with his Personal Choice of "Mad World" that he did back in Birth Year Week, and I think it was even more amazing on the big stage it was haunting and beautiful , especially with the foggy entrance he came into , Kara praised him saying "You rocked it again tonight" Paula stated what is usually a kiss of death saying "he looked incredibly handsome " but she adored it , and Randy gave him an "A-plus for Adam!"

Kris Allen- For his personal choice was "Aint No Sunshine" from Top Downloads week which he was highly praised on , he did an amazing job once again and like i said so much better on the big stage I love when he's on the piano , Randy said "That was one of your best performances ever on this stage!" , Kara praised Kris on his ability to connect with the audience which she always seeks out saying , "You make us feel like you're singing directly to us" and Simon called Kris the champion of Round 1:)

Round 2 Simon Fuller's Choice

Adam- Simon Fuller's was "A Change Gonna Come" and by the way he looked so handsome in his Burberry suit , anyway he was able to change up the R&B hit to his own unique rock style while still keeping it have the same feeling and message, Simon told him "This puts you 100% back in the competition" and got praises from the rest of the judges.

Kris - Simon Fuller's choice for Kris , keeping with a sort of socially conscious theme , was "What's Going On" and you know what I thought he did really good , on his guitar and changed it to his kinda Jason Mraz feel , Randy & Simon weren't sure if it was enough at this stage in the competition , and Simon called Round 2 on " A million percent Adam".

Round 3 - The Coronation Song (Co-written by Kara)

Adam -was the first to belt out Kara's song "No Boundaries" which is a good song , but i feel there is alot of lyrics to sing , Adam did his best with this song , having it keep the sound of a usual Idol winning song , but still having his glam rock feel on it , Good job Adam! :)It didn't seem like any of the judges cared for the song except for Kara , Simon said" Look , I'm not going to judge you on that performance , I'm going to judge you on the season , and you have been one of the most original contestants .... and when we do this we look for someone who could be an international star and I now we've found that with you".

Kris - was next on the final song performance of the season with , his take on "No Boundaries" which was also another best try and he did a solid performance,( I'm starting to like the song more know by this point) , Randy told Kris "You should be very proud of what you've done in this competition" Simon praised him on his evolution in the competition saying "You have thoroughly deserved to be standing on this stage tonight" .

Ok that is it for the recap , but who will take it home? Kris and Adam are so incredibly different in styles of music , both talented nonetheless , but who will be crowned winner as Seacrest said it's the Guy Next Door VS. The Guyliner :) No matter what happens both of them deserve the best and we will be seeing them for a long time to come.

Tuesday 5/19

Staging and dress rehearsal for Adam and Kris as well as Carrie , performance show tapes live at about 5pm , after ,rehearsal for Finale with Top 13 contestants for group performances and individual choreography rehearsal for sure , all contestants will know their celeb duet partner .

Tuesdays performance show will work like this :1st they will sing a song that the have previously done this season of their choosing . 2nd producer Simon Fuller chooses each Adam and Kris a song , and 3rd it's the final coronation song of which there is only one this year so let's cross our fingers Kris and Adam can make it original , I think they can :)

Wednesday 5/20

The big one , red carpet set up outside , press line set up , sound checks throughout the day , rehearsal and final choreography run throughs , I think the everyone in the press will be there around 2 , and listen to Ryan on KIIS fm tomorrow for the coverage under the stage he's by the dressing rooms lol , show is planned for 6pm PT 8pm ET live , after winner is announced guests winner , runner - up and other Idols and judges go through through press line , then its time for some parties :)

Ok I know i usually post the results the night they occur but I was so happy celebrating I did not obvioulsy and I'm sure everyone knows who are the final two , Adam & Kris , which i am so so happy for both they are two of the nicest people you will ever meet, not to mention talented Kris deserved this spot with his unique take on his song choices every week , like on "She Works Hard For The Money" , "To Make You Feel My Love" and just this past week "Heartless" and with that sweet tender voice of his, he truly shows his originality as an artist. Adam has never ceased to amaze us since the beginning of the season with his powerhouse vocals that I had no idea could be hit , or changing it up from a ballad like "Tracks Of My Tears" or rocking it out with "Born To Be Wild" or "Black Or White" he is truly a rockstar and knows who he is as an artist. Another reason I'm happy for this Top 2 especially is that Kris & Adam were roomates early on in the competition and have become really close friends and you can see that when they're together , Kris even supported with his buddy Adam by painting his thumb nail black , just like Adam's signature fingernails , a good compromise , and simply adorable , and no matter who wins Wednesday night , Kris & Adam you are still winnners to me and have long careers ahead of you , and you are two wonderful people and it has been a pleasure to get to know you Love ya <3

Idol Top 3 The Boys Club

Idols Top 3 Dudes hit the stage tonight with a song choice from the judges then their own and it was a night of surprises. Here's the recap. Danny was up first with Paula's choice of "Dance Little Sister" I've never heard the song before as did he so there's no comparison for me to the original but his performance wasn't awful he seemed to let loose more and the vocals weren't bad . Kara complimented Danny on his voice but as for his dance moves thumbs down I have to agree. Adorable Kris was up next with Kara & Randys choice of One Republic's "Apologize" which I thought was a pretty good choice for his sweet voice . Kris sang at the piano just like Ryan Tedder does in the video it was a solid vocal very memorable I luvs it but then again I'm partial :) Paula and Kara both agreed on wanting him to take more creative hold on the song as he has done before Please Vote! For Kris I want an Adam VS Kris Finale:) Adam rounded out the first round with Simon's choice of U2's "One" and by the way I love that song the tempo was slower then got faster different from the original I love when he starts out in his lower register then brings it home with his powerhouse vocal ability we all know him for simply superb! Kara learned how to use syllables in her judging un -be -li- ev- ab- le . Simon said of his victory lol "It was a brilliant performance and if your not in the final next week it will be a huge upset". Before round two started was a piece on Idol Gives Back with Carrie Underwood . The charity was started by the show back in Season 6 in order to provide aid for families and children in less fortunate areas around the world. Idol has raised over 140 million dollars with everyones donations. Carrie paid a visit to Angola Africa a place which was benefited from Idol by providing bed nets to keep them protected from Malaria and teaching them on how to protect themselves truly awesome keep up the good work everyone! Round 2 was each contestants song choice . Gokey was up first ( ya that's right I called him by his last name :p) singing "You Are So Beautiful" it was kind of a pretty performance if you leave out the beginning when it looked like he was having trouble breathing but he finished well damn it ! :( My boy Kris went a lil bit urban with his choice of Kanye West's "Heartless" on acoustic guitar which someone made a good point saying it was kind of Jason Mraz'y the no bad choice was very brave choice it being his possible last performance but he totally changed the melody and I have to totally applaud him for that it was awesome so VOTE! And for gods sake he broke a guitar string in the performance have a heart pweez:( Randy said he thought it was better than the Frays version and Kanye West's . Kara applauded him for his huge risk and Simon said it brought Kris back into the competition I hope! Adam closed the show with his choice of Aerosmith's "Cryin" and I think It was an awesome choice since he has the Steven Tyler scream he was all that in his rhinestone covered tee the attitude the voice go its just all so hot !it was too awesome for words . Randy said "You are one of the best we have ever had on this stage" Kara said "We'll see you at the finals" as did Paula get to voting America but get it right (Adam & Kris cough cough) Tune in tomorrow for the result I'm dreading :( but look forward to Katy Perry & Jordin Sparks performing her new single " Battlefield" accompanied by the writer Ryan Tedder @ 9 8c only on FOX!. As I wipe the tears away right now ,17 year old Allison Iraheta was eliminated from Idol tonight after her performnace of "Cry Baby" , last night which I thought was amazing as well as her duet with Adam. Allison was of course the only girl left in the competition that now consists of the boy's club , she brought new life to the competition and wowed us all with her powerhouse voice at a younger age than previous contestants like Jordin Sparks and David Archuleta , her voice was distinct once gettig praise from Paula saying "you know its you from the first note". Allison had awesome performances like "Alone" , "Papa Was A Rolling Stone" , "I Don't Want To Miss A Thing " and "I Can't Make You Love Me" , she is destined for greatness and long career ahead of her Ryan reassured her "I'm sure I'll be playing your songs on the radio real soon." And that is a fact , we love you Allison you are truly amazing Before the sad was results was a music filled night with a manice peformance from NoDoubt and Daughtry took the stage to perform his single No Surprise , Kris also presented him with a plaque marking that his debut album had sold 5 million copies worldwide Rock On Chris! and then the one and only Paula Abdul performed her new hit "Just Here For The Music" which was awesome she was so happy on set today we love her so much :) Tune in next week when Danny , Adam & Kris perform two songs each one the judges choice , the other their and their hometown trips which is the ritual for the Top 3 , vot efor your fave its the pre-finals people !!

In Loving Memory Of Adam Cook

I'm sure you have all heard of the passing of David Cook's older brother Adam , who sadly passed away this past Saturday from a cancerous brain tumor he had been battling with for over 11 years, I want to take this time to send my deepest heartfelt regards to all of the Cook family and wish them support and strength in this difficult time . Adam meant so much to his family and to his brothers David and Andrew , I'm sure we all remember when David was on Idol and he sang 'Always Be My Baby' and he looked out in the crowd and started crying because Adam was able to see him there doing what he loved and David cared and loved him so much even during and after his Idol run David worked closely with charities and organizations for cancer research and The American Cancer Society or more media related events like Stand Up To Cancer! and most recently his appearance at the Annual Race For Hope DC a 5k race to benefit the National Brain Tumor Society , where he announced his brothers passing in his speech and I will leave you with some of the most heartfelt words David said in he speech " I may have lost one today ,but I've gained 9,000". Wishing you love and support David and family you truly are an inspiration to all of us <3

Idol Gets Ready To Rock

Even before the contestants peformed the songs Idol was off to a rocky start when stage manager Debbie fell of the staircase ( the one that Adam used last week) which is 20 feet high , and sent her to the hospital luckily for her she is doing well and will recover shortly , get well soon Deb, we love ya, another mishap was one of the glass towers that are on stage had shattered into pieces all over the stage causing sheer panic in the studio needless to say dress rehearsal was cancelled ,but only in Hollywood the show must go on , and it was a damn good one , here's a recap . First of was Adam who did Led Zeppelin's "Whole Lotta Love " which was a perfect suit for his vocal ability and he was able to totally rock out and show that stage presence that we all love , he recieved praise from Kara saying "you're not only a rockstar tou're a rock god!"and Paula always the clever one called him "a whole lotta perfect" Simon also gave him probably the highest honor saying "No one can top that now". Next up was Allison who came back fresh from the hair salon with Adam , complete with extensions and crimson highlights to set off the rocker vibe she already exudes, she sang Janis Joplin's "Cry Baby" which in mmy opinion I loved I thought it suited her voice perfectly and I think she's just awesome , she got mixed views from the judges , Kara & Randy preferring for her to have chosen a different song , and and Simon calling it ' A terrific vocal but too close to the original" give Allison a break you guys she's doing just fine in my opinion. Next up was the first ever pre-finale duet between two contestants in the competition it was Danny & Kris who took the stage with Styx "Renegade" which was good mix of Danny's raspy soulful voice and Kris' sweet and tender voice A+ in my book. Kris had the chance next to fly solo in which he covered The Beatles "Come Together" and I thought he did a really good job trying his best in a genre that he isnt exactly and rocked out as best he could and I loved it , Kara praised him for the same reason , while Simon said "it was like eating ice for lunch" that statement is up for debate. Next was Danny who did Aerosmith's "Dream On" which I love and the performance didn't seem to bad , but then it got to the final note and I was like WTF! he had tried to hard to rock out it wasn't him only Simon could sum it up saying "it was like watching a horror movie". Finally was the second duet of Addison (that's Adam and Allison's name combined clever huh?) the dynamic duo sang "Slow Ride" and it was amazing I couldn't think of a better pairing Adam's & Allison's voices are just so powerful and awesome I'm just speechless and that hug at the end was just so sweet awww .Simon commented on the two telling Adam "i think you just gave her a chance in the competition by that perfromance ". Idol Downsizes To Top 4

Yes that's right can you believe it Top 4! which meant sadly that the competition had to end for one hopeful which was Kalamazoo native Matt Giraud , the 23 year old known for his bluesy vibe and dueling piano player skills , was eliminated after his performance of "My Funny Valentine", but even though the show is over for Matt he was the first contestant in Idol History to ever be used for the Judges Save where Kara told him " Saving you was the best choice we made " after he was eliminated . Matt also had great performances like "Let's Get It On" & "Part Time Lovers" and was always a great guy to be around and so funny and every time I see a fedora or Justin Timberlake I will think of you we will miss you Matt and look forward to what great things in store for your future:) Tonight we also saw as the then Top 5 prepare Birthday cakes for Allison(17) and Danny (29) , and then throw the ingredients at each other I love how they all get along , also were performances by the incomparable Natalie Cole who looked better than ever singing her song "Somethings Gotta Give" , and a performance from last nights mentor Jamie Foxx who didn't as much sing his song "Blame It"as he did blurt out words every couple seconds or so , I sware the crowd sung more than he did . The Top 4 now consists of Danny , Allison , Kris and Adam voting is more important than ever now don't let your favorite leave next week is Rock' N' Roll' (funny it was the same theme for last year's Top 4) and we have Slash for the Results show next week so that should also get you to tune in , and you know where to catch it Tuesday 8/7c & Wednesday 9/8c only on FOX!

Idol Gets Back To The Rat Pack

The Idol Top 5 went back to The Rat Pack days for this weeks performances here are the standouts. First up was the adorable Kris who kind looked like a lil Ryan clone in his suit. Allen sang "The Way You Look Tonight" which is one of my favorite songs he sang it so well and it was very sweet Randy called it his best performance to date and even mentor Jamie Foxx told him " I'm ready to make a record with you . Simon brought some gloom telling Kris " it was kind of like walking a well trained Spaniel it is going to do well and it was nice but I don't know if u showed u can win this competition ". All I can hope is he makes it through this week it really was a nice performance. Next up was the equally adorable Allison Iraheta who just recently celebrated her 17th birthday yesterday when everyone @ Idol gave her a lil surprise party after rehearsal. Anyway Allison sang "Somebody To Watch Over Me" which I honestly thought was one of her best performances it felt like she truly connected to the song and sang her heart out it was beautiful Kara praised her saying " you're not a one trick pony your not just some rocker chick... If that performance doesn't get you in the finals I don't know what will" Simon aka (the cloud of doom) questioned Allison's belief if she could win this competition in which she very politely said " Ya I think we all have that chance right now" he rebutted " Because I don't think you see that in yourself and you could be in trouble " I really hope she stays the show still needs some Girl Power. After Matt's performance of "My Funny Valentine" which I liked so much better in rehearsal and ended up being ok was Danny. Danny sang "Come Rain Or Come Shine" on which in my opinion started out like a wedding performance but then at the end he rocked it out with that total raspy voice of his I had to give him props. And last but far from least was Adam looked awesome in his white suit as he seductively glided down the staircase and sang Muse's version of the hit "Feelin' Good" he did a very contemporary version of the song and added those so unique Lambert qualities which make him so special. Adam had all 4 judges in a tizzy with joy Simon had probably the most interesting thing to say : " You know what I love about this competition is that some say that winning is everything... But every week you prove that your trying to win this competition... and that was one of your best entrances all season Ryan you are no longer allowed to use the stairs". So Adam pleased the judges and hopefully America tune in tomorrow to see who gets cut and who makes the Final 4 only 3 more weeks until the Finale! After sitting through the ever grueling results which sadly sent Anoop Desai & Lil Rounds packing , and witnessing what was the first ever fully choreographed Group Performance headed by the sweetest judge of them all Paula Abdul , all the Idols did an amazing job for attempting at dance which is something they don't normally do , I still can't get over Kris in those sunglasses he looked so funny lol. There was even more excitement when the lovable David Archuleta returned to the stage to perform his new single "Touch My Hand" it was truly awesome I didn't want the feeling to end :) Enjoy

The remaining 7 Idols which was the same number of contestants as last week since they saved Matt Giraud last week , worked hard into the night Monday rehearsing their songs and choreography with Michael Orland and Idol's sweetest Judge Paula Abdul on this weeks Disco theme here's how the night went down. First up was Lil who did another disappointing performance on what could've been amazing from her ,but she just didn't make it her own receiving little praise from the four judges. But then it was Kris who surprised many with his song choice of Donna Summer's "She Works Hard For The Money , which is about to quote Ryan Seacrest "a woman with a strong worth ethic" , Kris did awesome he totally changed the arrangement and made to his R&B alternative vibe which he does so well Kara said of the performance "I could like hear that on your album" Simon also praised Allen saying "You were able to do the complete opposite of the previous performance (Lil) it was original and unique and I loved it" . Allison was up next with another Donna Summers hit "Hot Stuff" ( all the Donna Summers songs brought me back to last years finale with all of girls ahh good times) anyway I wasn't a big fan of the arrangement slowing it down ,, but hey she can sing anything and the note she hit at the end wow! Randy seemed to agree with me pretty much saying the same "That I don't care how old you are you have one of the best voices in the competition" . Next up was Adam who I just have to say looked so adorable in his suit and tie and ironically him and I had our hair done the same way I promise I didn't plan it. Lambert sang "If I Can't Have You" From the Saturday Night Fever Soundtrack he had totally slowed down the tempo of the song and you could feel the raw emotion in his voice much like in "Tracks Of My Tears" but with a bit more vigor , the performance brought Paula to tears telling Adam " I could feel the pain that you were singing as if you ripped out you heart on the stage " In other words she loved it also predicting to see him in the finals (fingers crossed:) Randy and Kara both championed the performance as one of the best and Simon remarked "It was one you will remember" good job Adam" .Also I have to give props to Danny for his rendition of Earth Wind And Fires "September" which was very entertaining and suited his voice well . Matt also tried to prove himself after the now Idol History Judges Save , singing The BeeGees "Staying Alive" which was pretty good in my opinion he kind of sounded like Justin Timberlake and Stevie Wonder I though , but what do I know all the judges except Paula weren't feeling it , but Abdul told him " I think you made it to stay alive in this competition". So did Kris "work hard enough to stay " did Allison " show enough of her stuff to keep her dream alive" , and Adam " If I can't have you in the competition I don't know what I'll do ". Tune in tomorrow @ 9/8c only on FOX for a double elimination :( and David Archuleta who'll perform "Touch My Hand " I'm sooooooooooo excited :)!!!

Idol Goes To The Movies

The remaining Top 7 hopefuls took on the iconic songs of the cinema with help from eccentric director Quentin Tarantino. First up was the baby of the competition , Allison who belted out Aerosmith's "I Don't Want To Miss A Thing" from Armageddon she did an amazing performance having Paula giver her the credit she's been giving Adam saying she is original and doesn't compromise herself and she knows who she is as an artist Simon was in agreement saying she has come more into her own now and we could possibly see her in the finals which would be totally great:) Oh and I forgot to say FOX had the judges work in teams in order to prevent the show running overtime like last week . Anywho next up was Anoop who did Bryan Adam's 'Everything I Do' which was a very nice vocal , but was no comparison to my boy Adam who sang " Born To Be Wild" from Easy Rider his performance blew the roof off the place AMAZING! Like Tarantino said if you're looking for a rockstar he's the real deal it was awesome one of my fave performances of his, Paula told him " You dare to dance in greatness" and Simon said there is about half the audience who love it and the others will hate it Booh ! You rocked Adam :) . Next up was Matt who sang another Bryan Adams song " To Really Love A Woman"he started off strong ,but it was overall a shaky performance Kara reiterated that she still doesn't know who he is as an artist . I'm still a fan though last weeks performance of Part- Time Lovers was awesome . After Matty was Kris who I must just add is as cute a a freakin puppy I loved his song choice Glen Hansard's "Falling Slowly" from the movie Once which won an Oscar a few years ago I was a big fan of the song and the way he sang which was so raw and sweet and with those puppy dog eyes . Randy didn't feel the same though saying he didn't feel it, all the while shocking Christina Applegate who was sitting behind him with his remark, Kara was on the other side of the spectrum and told Kris she loved it as did I love ya Kris :) Tune in for results tomorrow with performances by Miley Cyrus and Jennifer Hudson @ 9 / 8 c only on FOX!

Here is some new music from some artists that you may not or may have heard of , First off Esmee Denters who was discovered from YouTube by Justin Timberlake and is now signed to his record label has released her first single off her debut album "Outta Here" co- written by One Republic frontman Ryan Tedder (love him)which kind of has a club beat vibe I love it:) Second is Benton Paul who opened for David Archuleta at his last couple shows of his U.S. tour saw him in Utah he is amazing the song is 'Paris' and it even has a little French in it which makes it cest' magnifique also check out his song ' I Only See With You". Lastly ,but certainly not least is a little Irish band from Dublin The Script who are an amazing group of guys who describe themselves as a bit of rock , pop and hip hop whatever the mix is it works for them , their single 'The Man Who Can't Be Moved ' is climbing the charts it is really an amazing song a must hear and also check out their song "Break Even".

Set you Tivo's girls and some boys HSM heartthrob Zac Efron is going to host Saturday Night Live April 11th as planned with the musical guest the Yeah Yeah Yeahs which will be a debut for both Zac and the band on the show , Zac is super excited and I know he'll do great and make us laugh of course . And not only is Zac funny ,but he's good with balls, basketballs that is as you know in 17 Again he had to play basketball again for some of the scenes as he did in HSM , and when he was in England back on March 24th he did the Graham Norton Show which is kind of like the British equivalent of our Jay Leno he's a very funny host but anyway , he asked Zac to spin the ball on his finger as he does in the movie so he obliged spun that ball right round baby right round , and when Zac told fellow guest on the show David Walliams from Little Britain to do the same he jokingly responded "I can't do it , i'm 37 my life is over" . The 26 year old country beauty first picked up an award for Best Female Vocalist earlier in the broadcast of the American Country Music Awards (ACM) , beating out fellow country girl Taylor Swift who very cutely sung along to Carrie's "Last Name" that was played during her win , Carrie said "It feels like I won American Idol all over again". Carrie also picked up the coveted Entertainer of The Year Award (which is voted on by the fans) beating other country hotshots like Keith Urban and Brad Paisley , Carrie could barely get her thoughts together for her speech that was accompanied by tears , she said "I want to thank God my family all the fans I don't know what to say , I'm at a loss" she also added a little shoutout to her BF hockey player Mike Fisher saying "Mike baby I wish you were here". Carrie also wowed the crowd with her performance of her new single "I Told You So" in a beautiful crimson red gown that was almost as big as the stage host Reba McIntire joked "I was going to wear the same dress" . Ashley Tisdale Reveals Her "Guilty Pleasures"

Ms. Tisdale dropped by the MTV Buzzworthy office when she was in New York last week finishing up things on her upcoming album , and while there she answered some questions for all her devoted fans , on things like boy advice her album and the ever so popular Twilight Series .Ashley went on on how she was inspired for her sophomore album saying: The inspiration was really songs that I could connect to. On the first album was everything that I’d experienced [so far]. [On this album] it wasn’t what I’d experienced, but stuff I could connect to. For example, ‘How Do You Love Someone’ is about a broken family and how this girl grew up never really feeling loved and she’s questioning if she can love someone having such a messed up past. A wax figure that is, Madame Tussaud's in London and Las Vegas today unveiled there new figures of Mr. Efron as his character Troy Bolton in High School Musical about the statue in my opinion its a little creepy how much it looks like him but I have to say Zac's arms have way more muscle than the statue ,but the eyes and the hair are on spot ,but don't worry Zac I love the real you better:) , Zac was in Vegas earlier this evening to accept his award for Breakthrough Performer Of The Year at the ShoWest Awards at the Paris Hotel , I am so proud of him getting all the recognition for all the work he does and how much he puts into it. Mitch Neuhauser said of Efron before he accepted the award: “His undeniable onscreen presence and charm have connected with fans around the world, and with the impending release of the comedy 17 Again, Zac Efron is poised to break out as a true Hollywood star. American Idol Has A Little Less "Joy"

Yes I'm sorry to say Megan Joy Corkrey , the 23 year old from Sandy, Utah was booted from tonight's show after her performance of Bob Marley's "Turn Your Lights Down Low" in which all four judges didn't have any good comments are in turn not surprising when Megan was subjected to their judge evaluation Simon very bluntly put it saying they would not bring her back next week , before even performing her song , though the teary eyed blonde did perform after all was said and done ,but it was a bittersweet moment for her and we hope for great things to come from her:) The night wasn't all tears though it was pretty funny with some of the contestants giving you a glimpse on just how hectic their day to day week is and that some of them do impressions of each other like Matt doing Danny and vice versa, Allison doing Danny and Anoop doing Kris' signature style , Ryan commented on their antics saying "You guys seem to be getting along better than any season's contestants" . The show also had some great performances like from our reigning Idol Mr. David Cook who serenaded the crowd with his new single "Come Back To Me" and we got some pretty good camera shots of his adorable drummer Kyle Peek:) after his performance Ryan presented David with a gift from 19 & RCA Records since his debut album had gone platinum David said of his good fortune " I released a solo album before Idol and it sold 1,000 copies in a year and now to have this one sell over a million copies in three months I can't thank you guys enough" Cookie even got a little teary when presented with such an honor saying " I always cry when I'm on this show" awwwww but that's why we love you David be sure to catch the Cookster on tour through August and check out his video for "Come Back To Me" @ http://music.att.net/ and catch Idol next Tuesday as the Idols perform song from the year they were born :) Tuesday 8/7c only on FOX!

Tonight the remaining 9 contestants pretty much had free range of song choice having the ability to choose any popular song from the Itunes database leaving a massive repertoire to go through, in a sense Ryan was their mentor as the Idols paid a visit to American Top 40 Ryan's radio show here in L.A. that airs all around the country on Saturdays , with the possibilities being seemingly endless to song choice, here are tonight's standouts. After a grueling first 25 minutes of the show 16 year old Allison sang "Don't Speak " by No Doubt , one of my favorite songs, she even accompanied it with some guitar playing that she had only learned this week , impressive and though it wasn't her best performance the judges seemed more interested in her Pebbles Flinstone look that she was rocking ,however she still deserves to show us how much more she can do with her Kelly Clarkson-esque voice. Next up was Matt who surprised me with his song choice of The Fray's "You Found Me" , which as you know is a very current hit , performing it on keyboard in one of the small moshpits , I think it was good for him to show that he can do other genres besides R&B , showing he can be a little more Ryan Tedder and still Justin Timberlake as the judges like to pigeonhole him in , though he had some not so supportive reviews of the judges Kara reassured him "I love you and I think you deserve to be here next week", so cross your fingers. The last two contestants brought it, bringing the show to a climax first was the ever so popular Adam Lambert who sang Wild Cherry's "Play That Funky Music" which as Randy said could have been corny,but it was far from it Adam and the band totally set up a whole new arrangement of the song that brought it back to today , Paula praised Lambert saying "There are few artists that have such originality, I'll name a few , Mick Jagger , Steven Tyler and Adam Lambert " causing the crowd to applaud in an uproar. And lastly but FAR from least Kris Allen who might I add looked extremely sexy tonight , sang Al Green's 'Ain't No Sunshine" putting one of the most original spins on a song that we've heard a million times it was beautiful and powerful at the same time , Paula said "You took a song that is 30 years old and made it sound like we've heard it for the first time" , Kara added " I have three words for you (this time counting her # of words correctly:) "That is artistry" Be sure to catch Idol's Results Tomorrow @ 9/8c only on FOX!

While Ms. Clarkson is still dominating the music charts with her album All I Ever Wanted at #1 for the second week straight, she is ready to make some more chart topping hits she's releasing "I Do Not Hook Up" for the second single off her album which was originally written by Katy Perry the song tells girls it's ok to be the one who's not always going out to parties ... I believe in that" Kelly told this months ELLE magazine . " I Do Not Hook Up" is the second single after the highly popular "My Life Would Suck" and if you don't have her album yet go pick it up "your life would suck without it"

Zac & Vanessa Are KCA Cuties

Zac and Vanessa hit the red carpet earlier today for the Kids Choice Awards in LA. at UCLA's Pauley Pavilion , Vanessa kept it cute in a black fringe tank and cute denim shorts and cowboys boots , while Zac kept it cool in an awesome T-shirt grey skinny jeans and black patent sneakers , and Congrats to the whole HSM cast which won for favorite movie beating out blockbusters like The Dark Night :)

David Archuleta Is Our Choice

After today's final performance on David's first U.S solo tour here in Utah , where I'm blogging from today at The E Center in Salt Lake City and afterwards a very special afterparty where David's lil bro Daniel will perform along with David and Donny Osmond I am soooo excited. David though will provide a taped appearance for the Kids Choice Awards back in LA. tomorrow , so be sure to tune in to Nickelodeon tomorrow @ 8/7c March 28th to see David and if Idol will reign supreme for best reality show :) And we all here just wan to say thanks to everyone who worked on the tour and all the people who came out to support David we do it happily here's to the next tour:) JSYK- David's UK Tour starts in Wolverhampton April 21st .

Idol Goes Motown

After a flight back from Hitsville USA, last week and overcoming Influenza B, the contestants were ready to give it their all on the music that started it all , here are tonight's standout's . Matt Giraud "got in on" with his soulful bluesy rendition of Marvin Gaye's "Let's Get It On" leaving Kara and Paula to praise him for being true to himself and making them swoon , and getting praise from both Randy and Simon saying "you put yourself as a front runner in the competition". Kris Allen ,I just have to say "how sweet it would be to be loved by you", the 24 year old belted out another on of Marvin Gaye's classics, "How Sweet It Is" and wowed the crowd and the judges with his very own take on the song with riffs and runs and of course with his trusty guitar in hand , Kara praised him for doing making the song his own and "not doing the Marvin version ,but the Kris" and getting praise from Randy as being "consistent every week and giving his all" Simon was the only one who brought down the mood saying that "you need to have more belief in yourself to be a star you have to be conceited" um no you don't Mr. Cowell take a look at Sara Bareilles , David Archuleta , Carrie Underwood, David Cook all very humble and still stars:) Though Kris got some major crowd-love it was Adam who brought them to their feet and Kara and Paula , Adam sand Smokey Robinson's and The Miracles ,"Tracks Of My Tears" all in falsetto ,but still showcasing all of his vocal strengths he would show if normally singing , the performance was simply amazing and beautiful getting praise from all four judges for him being one of the most original contestants in the competition , and how about the mini makeover - hotttt ,but Adam don't change we like you the way you were:) And last but certainly not least the lovely Allison Iraheta closed out the show with "Papa Was A Rolling Stone" a perfect choice for the raspy voiced 16 year old rocker , the performance was early Kelly reminiscent and I hope she can make it that far:) Be sure to tune in tomorrow for Results and performances by Stevie Wonder, Smokey Robinson & Ruben Studdard 9/8c only on FOX!

Jordin Sparks Is Going To Have One Splendid Evening

The 19 year old beauty will be performing tomorrow for the Vh1 Save The Music Foundation on the Carnival Splendor Cruiseship in L.A. along with Gavin Rossdale , John Mayer , and the Jonas Brothers who she will also be opening for on their upcoming tour (in my opinion she'll be the only talent on that tour) but anyway Jordin sat down earlier today to answer some questions on her upcoming album , her fave Idols , and that she too is an Adam Lambert fan:)

Jordin on Working w/ Jesse McCartney &Leona Lewis for her 2nd Album:

I went on tour with Jesse McCartney last year and we had a lot of fun and we have been talking about writing together. Same thing with Leona Lewis. I talked to her and it would be really cool to do like a big female-empowerment duet.

Jordin On Artists She'd Love To Collaborate With:

I would love to work with John(Mayer), whether he'd be playing on the track or if it was a little like a duet kind of collaboration. I love Christina Aguilera ,Justin Timberlake, Jason Mraz and Fergie. I want to expand. I wanna go maybe do some country stuff with someone like Martina McBride.

I have been watching and voting. I was very surprised that Alexis Grace didn’t stay last week(me too).

This "Crush" Aint' Going Awaaaaay

David Archuleta still has everyone singing along to his first single "Crush" as it still rests comfortably in the Top Ten of Billboard Charts this week at #8 , being on the charts since it August 12th release , a whopping 31 weeks equalling 8 months time, I guess the relativity anyone can have to the song relates to everyone who has ever had those ever so sweet feelings and like Archie says in the song "this crush aint going awaaaay ay ay" and if fans have anything to do with it it seems we'll be crushing hard for a long time:) Tell me what you guys like about "Crush".

David A. & David C. Set To Perform @ The Mall Of Asia

Yes that's right season 7 winner David Cook and runner up David Archuleta are performing at the open ground of The Mall of Asia in Manila , Philippines May 16th, which is after both of the hotties U.S. tours are done, and Archie is set for a small United Kingdom Tour kicking off in Wolverhampton, with the band McFly opening for him which will kick off April 21st about a month after his final U.S show in his homestate of Utah at The E Center , which I am so excited for and after there is an afterparty where David Osmond (a hopeful cut from Hollywood Week this season) David Osmond , and Archie's younger brother Daniel will all perform so we all look forward to that , Archie is also set to have after tour dates in Asia after his performance with Cookie:)
