Just Stand Up!

On Friday , September 5 all three major media outlets ABC , NBC , and CBS are joining together to bring you Stand Up To Cancer , a show to raise money for charities to help find a cure . Major stars like Meryl Streep , Jennifer Aniston , Callista Flockhart , Neil Patrick Harris and my personal favorite David Cook are coming together to help bring some star power on this tragic topic. Mariah Carey , Carrie Underwood , Rihanna , Fergie , Leona Lewis, Natasha Bedingfield and Beyonce have also come together in the song "Just Stand Up" which they will perform live on Friday @ 8:00 , please tune in and donate if you can , the smallest amount could help.

Your Hollywood Hookup

This week there were to very big announcements in reality tv, first ABC announced the dancing with the stars cast which included : Kim Kardashian , Lance Bass , Toni Braxton , Susan Lucci , Ted McGinely , Misti May Trainer , and Cloris Leechman , but the season already started with drama when Kim K cut her foot on a glass table in her hotel room the night before the announcement , but cleared it up On Air With Ryan Seacrest saying it wasn't as big of deal it was made to be . Then Fox announced that Season 8 of American Idol will have a fourth judge Kara DioGuardi a singer/songwriter who has written songs for the likes of powerhouse voices such as Christina Aguilera , Gwen Stefani , Carrie Underwood , Kylie Minogue , Miley Cyrus and wrote Kelly Clarkson's "Walk Away" , the producers say it will bring new excitement to the show and change it up a bit , but I beg to differ I prefer my Randy , Paula and Simon , but hey what can you do.

Idol File

Skechers just got a little bit sexier . The famous footwear line signed David Cook back in July to be the spokesperson for their boot line , the Season 7 winner is following in the footsteps of previous winners Kelly Clarkson and Carrie Underwood . Cook says of his new endorsement " I have always viewed Skechers as a cool company , so I am exicited to be part of their campaign". The print campaign is set to launch this fall and run through December 2009.
