Jacob Black is Back

Well, Taylor Lautner who played Jacob Black , in Twilight will be back for , the sequel New Moon , the movies Director Chris Weitz had the message posted to author Stephanie Meyers site to say, "I'm very happy to announce that Taylor Lautner will be playing Jacob Black in 'New Moon' and that he's doing so with the enthusiastic support of Summit Entertainment, the producers, and Stephenie Meyer," Weitz went on to say"The characters in Stephenie's books go through extraordinary changes of circumstance and also appearance; so it is not surprising that there has been speculation about whether the same actor would portray a character who changes in so many surprising ways throughout the series," the post continued. "But it was my first instinct that Taylor was, is, and should be Jacob, and that the books would be best served by the actor who is emotionally right for the part. I think that fans of 'Twilight' the book and the movie will be surprised by the Jacob Black that Taylor will bring to the screen in 'New Moon'; and I'm looking forward to working with him and the rest of the cast in realizing the film." , Stephanie Meyer also played a key role in keeping Taylor in the part, when Taylor's role was up in the air actor Michael Copon , New Moon is set for the release date for November 20, 2009 , dates are subject to change so be sure to check back for updates, and the Twilight DVD is set for a late March early April release.

Hudgens VS. Gomez

Ok , since I think we had fun with our last VS. with Efron and Archuleta ,and things seemed to go in Mr. Archuleta's favor with Zac not even receiving the vote, so here is round two Vanessa Hudgens or Selena Gomez , so you pick the girl who starred in all 3 of the High School Musicals or the girl who starred in the (crappy) Another Cinderella Story , but one common denominator they are not the best singers , so you pick friends with Zac Efron or David Henrie, I think you know which side I'm on (cough cough Vanessa)

Leona Lewis & Chace Crawford, What Could Be More Beautiful?

I had heard this story over Christmas actually , and I totally forgot to tell you guys about it, but anyway , Leona Lewis' new video "I Will Be" will feature a cameo from Gossip Girl star Chace Crawford. The two met overseas in London where Chace was doing press for Gossip Girl, and they became instant friends , Chace does have a speaking part in the video , as well as the appearance , the premise has something to do with Leona being arrested, well we can't wait to see it , it is set to premiere in the next couple days. This is Leona's third single off her Platinum album Spirit , the song was co- written by Avril Lavigne ,and Leona herself. Leona took to her blog earlier today praising the directors video, Melina Matsoukas, and saying of Crawford "one of the nicest people she's ever met and she is now addicted like the rest of us to Gossip Girl, it's like a drug Leona!:)

More Spotlight Stealing Babies

With less than a week into 2009, stars have popped out a set a twins and a new baby girl. Just a little bit earlier today Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck's rep confirmed that the couple had their second daughter , no word on the name yet ,but I'm thinking Lily to go with the flower theme of sister Violet who is 3, Big Congrats to the couple I wish the best to all four of them. Two other babies were born from possibly the cutest couple ever Rebecca Romijn and Jerry O' Connell welcomed two twin girls , Dolly Rebecca Rose (Rebecca is a huge fan of Dolly Parton) and Charlie Tamara Tulip, both born , December 28, so now they share a birthday with David Archuleta, what a small world , Congratulations to them are totally deserved:)

Utahn Of The Year: David Archuleta

Though he was named it in 2008 , I just wanted again to praise Archie for being Utahn of the Year , David was sworn in by Utah Governor Jon Huntsman, it was a great year for David, getting to make his first album and having such great success with it ,and hitting a milestone birthday of 18 this past week, it was a honor for him to have recognition from his home state , Congrats again Archie and we wish you many more successes:)

Hathaway VS. Hudson

Anne Hathaway and Kate Hudson arrived yesterday in NYC for the premiere of their new movie Bride Wars , the two stars hit the blue carpet provided by Tiffany & C.O , sticking with a wedding theme sponsor , Kate picked a short black and white Oscar De La Renta dress, as where Anne suited for well a sweet little black suit , together they looked like bride and groom , which makes me think they could have planned it:) The movie centers around the two as friends who are going to have their dream weddings at the Plaza Hotel in New York ,but chaos ensues when both their weddings are accidentally planned for the same day. Check out Bride Wars when it hits theaters Friday , January 9.
