Dancing With The Stars is "NSYNC"

Dancing With The Stars premiered last Monday , Tuesday , and Wednesday it felt like a marathon by the time I finished watching I was exhausted , but the show was pretty entertaining (I usually don't watch but I needed something to fill my American Idol void)anyway the show has crazy Oscar winner Cloris Leechman , trying to seduce the judges with what's left of her bosoms , then there are my two favorite 'Stars' this season Lance Bass and Kim Kardashian , Lance bringing the edginess into the dancing and livening up the show with partner Lacey Schimmer new to the show previously from So You Think You Can Dance and was rumored to be dating David Cook this April when she was used in the Idol Gives Back Special , then Ms. Kardashian is paired with reigning champ Mark Ballas , the couple did a solid performance , but could put a little more energy into it , were pulling for you Kim! Don't Forget to catch DWTS Mondays and Tuesdays @ 8:00 on ABC.

The Fearless: Taylor Swift

There are few people outside the "Idol" Family who are genuinely nice , sweet funny people and Taylor Swift is one of those whether she's spreading the girl power with her songs like "Picture To Burn" or spending an entire day signing autographs for her fans , making sure every who was waiting in line got to meet her , some other singers should take note , her humility and ability to be starstruck just like us draws in more fans for her she is and incredibly sweet person and quite funny , Check out the video below , and don't forget to pick up a copy of Taylor's new album Fearless when it drops November 11.

Joshua Price The Next American Idol?

I was searching around YouTube about a month ago and found this guy he did a cover of David's "Time Of My Life" which was amazing he gave a different spin on it with a more pop version but noneltheless really amazing , then I check out some of his other videos and he says he is going to try out for the New York auditions for Idol Season 8 which was last month I am posting the video , and you be the judge the judges may think his voice may be theatrical , or he doesn't have to try so hard , or in Simon's words "it was a little worthy" , but I think this guy is great he has the personality and the voice don't know if he can win , but definitely worthy of the golden ticket to Hollywood , and if he makes it I want partial credit because in this business exposure is everything :) Good Luck Joshua , Comment you guys and tell me what you think.

The 60th Emmys

The Emmys were last Sunday and they were full of some upsets fro me, but first of all I have to congratulate Jean Smart of - Samantha Who , who won Best Supporting Actress , that show is one of my favorite comedies , so now here are my favorite nominees who didn't win but should have and you should still watch their shows- Neil Patrick Harris - Best Supporting Actor (How I Met Your Mother) , Christina Applegate - Lead Actress (Samantha Who) , Julia Louis Dreyfus - Lead Actress ( The New Adventures Of Old Christine) , Michael C. Hall- Lead Actor (Dexter)
and Dexter for Best Television Drama Series , you are still winners to me. Now there were two very interesting and a bit funny moments like Josh Groban's medley of 32 of the greatest TV theme songs (you have to see it ,it's hilarious) and the presentation of the Reality Tv show host , you were robbed Ryan!!

David Cook Shines the "Light" on us

Ok so David has released his second single "Light On" which is an amazing . haunting powerful song , it really shows him as the true artist that he is and am sure it is just a taste of greatness to come from his album November 18, Popeater.com was the lucky site to get the single and debuted it even though I was told is was out tomorrow , I checked around and found it 8 hours later so I literally just listened to it 3 minutes ago , but I thought you guys should know how wonderful I think it is , and what better way to fall asleep then hearing David's voice , sigh. David Cook's Suprise Performance

David will be performing at David Wright's Foundation Gala November 12 in NYC. David Wright is of course a baseball player for the Mets and his wonderful foundation provides money for charities that deal with children with Multiple Sclerosis in the New York and Virginia areas. Cook is set to perform at the Hard Rock Cafe in Times Square @ 6:00 ET - 11:00 ET , so please if available attend and help this wonderful charity. 'Hills' Book Series?

It's true, Lauren Conrad has signed a deal with Harper Collins publishing company to produce a series called L.A. Candy the stories will be based on a girl who moves to Hollywood and is on a reality show "wherever will she get the inspiration". Conrad says of her new venture "I've always loved books that I could lose myself in, ones that would transport me to another place, but had characters I could relate to. Last night , the new CW series Privileged , premiered and unlike the new 90210 , it isn't all annoying uber rich kids , it's just part of it , the show has heart and real feelings. The show is about Megan Price (Joanna Garcia from Reba) , an aspiring writer working for a tabloid magazine , but then her New York apartment burns down , and she loses her job because of her forte in actually writing about things that matter, but her boss is supportive and tells her if she wants to write about fabulous people you have to be around them. Then she ends up in Palm Beach , Florida she gets a job as the tutor for two 16 year old billionaires Rose and Sage , who are under the watch of their Grandmother Laurel , who lost her daughter , the girls mother in a plane crash. Megan's goal as the tutor is to get the girls into Duke , but she gets alot for her services aside from living in the mansion with them , she gets a car (a Jaguar to be exact), and 1,500 dollars a week and Laurel will pay the rest of her college loan if she succeeds. Megan has her work cut out for her though , while Rose is the sweet sister ,obliging to her sisters wishes , Sage is one tough cookie , she only cares about her superficial life , like when the girls have a photo shoot and they need a guardian to sign a release form , and Megan doesn't because Rose is too nervous and self conscious , so then Megan has hell to pay Sage invites Megan's sister to their annual ball even though she knows she and her sister are on the outs , because Lily(sister) stole Megan's boyfriend , and there is something Megan did we don't know yet , but will soon find out. All of this is done in front of Megan's new supercute neighbor , sure to be her love interest on the show , so tune in next week and all season it's a good show let's help keep it on the air.

Last night the new 90210 premiered , and showed the world just how much a tv show can exaggerate high school life. The show starts with the family moving from Kansas to Beverly Hills causing the kids Annie and adopted son Dixon to leave their old lives behind . The family moves into their grandmother's mansion , and settle into to the old West Beverly Hills High , where Bentleys and Gucci flats are of the norm , Annie's day starts with her meeting Ethan a guy she met one summer in BH , but the meeting is awkward he's cheating on his girlfriend with another girl "inside a car" that's all i'm saying , then she meets Naomi the girlfriend of Ethan and becomes quick friends with her shopping at Beverly Hills boutique Maxfields and going to the original casts old hangout the new revamped Peach Pit , then Naomi has to write a paper due the next day so Annie gives her, her paper on the same thing and Naomi turns in the same paper , and then the principal who happens to be Annie's dad finds out and has a meeting with Naomi's mother . The next day Annie learns that her boyfriend in Kansas ,Jason broke up with her , and then her Dad learns that he fathered a child with Naomi's mom 20 years ago. (scandoulous) Then Annie finds the perfect rebound at school , super gorgeous super rich Ty then they go on a date to a restaurant in San Francisco from Beverly Hills in the same day ( you know a typical date) then she tells her new friend Silver who happens to be the guidance counselor's sister (Jenny Garth) about the date and finds out that she used to be friends with Naomi , but cut it off when she told everyone that Silver's dad was cheating on her mom , and now she wants revenge. And if you like living vicariously through the rich and beautiful like me, tune in next Tuesday @8 for episode 2.

Lil' David Archuleta has set a release date for his upcoming album , most likely to be self titled , for November 11, 2008 . The 17 year old has also just seen the final cut for his first music video for single "Crush" in his blog entry Archie said "Another thing that happened this week is that I got the rough cut of the 'Crush' video! It was so crazy to see a professional video done for me, and I can't wait for you guys to see it. It was cool watching how a video comes together right from the beginning of the video treatment and hearing the idea of the director, to seeing it come to life with the cameras, cast, and music haha. It's still hard having to watch yourself, but you have to make sure everything looks good for everyone to see haha. I'm getting a little better with that though. " he was also very concerned with the hurricane in the south and sends his prayers to them , like the sweeheart that he is. Congratulations David :D !!

Ever wonder what it's like to be the busiest man in Hollywood , well we got the scoop on the never ending schedule of Ryan Seacrest : At 5:05 a.m. he is up in Kansas City on his way to the arena there to broadcast On Air With Ryan Seacrest on KIIS fm, at 7:00 he is at the arena waiting for everything to be set up he is on air at 8:00 Missouri time , then at 7:45 our time he interviews Andrew Cook , brother of David , then Seacrest is out, at 10:00 the American Idol host is taping segments for the audtion part of Idol, 4 hours later at 1:15 he is ready to be entertainment reporter and films on location for E! News , then finally at 2:15 he is on a flight back to LA to start his schedule all over again . And you thought you were busy.

"The Hills" Analysis

With the popular MTV show , being mainly a source for gossip in and around Tinseltown the lightly- scripted show may teach us some lessons (shocking I know) , but with the problems in relationships , and friendships Lauren and Heidi are just like us (except we don't get paid $75,000 per episode of our daily life) . So , I took some notes and have some advice for the girls:

Lauren- needs to stay single for a while , because she keeps picking the wrong guys , and she doesn't get to pay enough attention to them because of her faulty relationships with her friends , she needs to get those fixed , and set apart friend time and boyfriend time , no guy or girl wants their time with their special someone divided with anyone else.

Heidi- I've gone back and forth on whether this girl is nice or not , but she changes after every commercial , but one thing is for sure LEAVE SPENCER , he is the most repulsive thing on earth , and he should'nt be making Heidi choose between him and being friends with his sister or Lauren , it's all about balance and if someone is making you choose between two people you care about you don't deserve to be in that relationship.

Carly Smithson's New Recording Contract

While on tour in the Van Andel Arena , Smithson was in good spirits with some good news regarding a recording contract , "I can't really talk about it" she said , but if Smithson does release on a major record label , it will be her second time around , the Irish lass released "Ultimate High" on MCA records back in 2001 ,but when the record company merged with the parent company , her album got lost in translation and only sold about 500 copies. Tour Update

Our friends over at AmericanIdol.com interviewed Mr. Cook in the last stretch of the Idols Summer Tour , saying Both the tour and the record are going really well, we’re actually ahead of schedule on the record. And we’re now on the home stretch of the tour,” David reported. Touring holds special appeal for him because “getting immediate reaction from such a large crowd is huge. A lot of the people who come to the tour are obviously fans of the show. They know these songs and they’re able to sing along. It’s just a really celebratory vibe for all of us.” David also had something to say of his fans from My Idol Blogs and David- Cook.org who set out to reach $10,000 for the American Cancer Society and well surpassed their goal in 38 days, as well as David-Cook .org which raised $27,000 , David says of the support“It’s the stuff fans do for other people that I think is the coolest thing in the world.” David's brother Adam suffers from the tragic illness.

It seems TV dramas have gone to the young , rich , and beautiful . Gossip Girl Season 2 premieres tonight at 8:00 on the CW.
