It's true, Lauren Conrad has signed a deal with Harper Collins publishing company to produce a series called L.A. Candy the stories will be based on a girl who moves to Hollywood and is on a reality show "wherever will she get the inspiration". Conrad says of her new venture "I've always loved books that I could lose myself in, ones that would transport me to another place, but had characters I could relate to. I'm so excited to have this opportunity to write books like that for other readers." The first book of Lauren's series is set to debut next summer
