Season 8 winner Kris Allen, joins fellow Idols Jordin Sparks, and David Archuleta who are also part of the label, this was confirmed in an article this morning read below :
NEW YORK, June 8 /PRNewswire/ — It was announced today that 19 Recordings has signed Kris Allen, and his recordings have been licensed to Jive Records.”

Everyone’s been asking me what it’s going to sound like. It will be very similar to what you heard from me on the show — definitely in the pop/rock genre. I can’t wait to get started!”
Congrats to Kris , we can't wait for his album , no word on a release date yet , but Kris is set to work with Arkansas native David Hodges , who was formerly of Evanescence :)
