Idol Reaches Top 11

With Tuesday and Wednesday night past , some of the contestants can breath easy except for , Jasmine Murray and Jorge Nunez , were sent packing last night , leaving the remaining 11 contestants to battle it out next week. There was a slight change in Idol history last night as teased in Tuesday's performance show , that is known as the 'Judges Save' where when a contestant is in the position of being sent home all 4 of the judges can agree to bring him or her back into the competition ,but they can only use the save once for that person and the following week two contestants will be sent home, it was made to hinder results of sad losses of contestants like Michael Johns and Chris Daughtry who were possibly subject to the dreaded "I thought everyone was gonna vote for him" . But before the drama of the dreaded results Tuesday's show proved to show the best of some of the contestants who belted out hits from the impressive songbook of Michael Jackson, Allison Iraheta sang "Give It To Me" impressing the judges with her Kelly Clarkson-esque voice the only criticism being from Simon of course "to ligthen up a bit" ,but we like our rocker chick, another standout was Alexis Grace who has gone from Sweet Home Alabama to Christina Aquilera's Dirrty (but in a good way) the pink streaked beauty sand "Diry Diana" which suited her raspy bluesy voice getting praise from Kara , saying "Welcome Back", and of course my boy Adam Lambert did his thing on MJ's hit "Black or White" with his rock swagger that we love , getting praise from Paula saying " I can see you in the finals" high hope we hope he can live up to :) and even though America didn't give her to o much love Jasmine Murray did an amazing rendition of "I'll Be There" which was also covered by Mariah Carey , she is so sweet and we will miss her in the competition. So check out the vids and be sure to catch Idol next Tuesday/Wednesday @ 8/7c & 9/8c only on FOX!
